

He was born on June 24, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to William and Leona Brandt.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962 aboard the USS Ranger. Following his military service, he built a long career with General Motors, working for more than 30 years. He later worked in security for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and served his community as a Special Deputy with the Sheriff’s Department.
He was a member of the Masons and Shriners. He enjoyed golfing, playing bocce ball, and riding his Harley-Davidson, often taking rides with friends.
Robert shared 57 years of marriage with his wife, Judith Brandt. He is survived by Judith and his daughter, Cynthia Brandt-Scannell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Leona Brandt; his brother, Charles Brandt; and his aunts and uncles, Ray and Gladys Hiipaka, Viola Hiipaka, and Bill and Vera Burchard.
